Russ Fields, Dennis Kiely, and Joe Paulo are working cowboys from California. They were captured in this photograph branding a calf in Galt, California. It was a typical day in March and they had a few hundred head of cattle to brand and vaccinate that morning.
This is a crew from Fields Livestock. They had gathered the herd early that morning and were now roping and processing the cattle. After general herd health is checked, the cattle are turned back out to pasture.
